Saturday Activity Club

HOW IT WORKS

The Saturday Activity Club is the flagship of our organization’s Art Programming. Each week our members, who are always referred to as Stars, have the opportunity to work on new and exciting projects. During the Creative Expression Season, which is June 1 to August 31 of each year, the Club focuses its projects geared exclusively for exhibitions.

The Saturday Activity Club meets every Saturday between 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the new Art Center located at 4603 N. University Dr., Lauderhill, Fl 33351 for creative activities for our special needs adults ages 18+. Club members work in groups or on a single basis on drawings, paintings, pastels, sculptures, abstract art made of all recycled materials, jewelry-making, glass fusion and leather craft.

With the opening of the Art Center, we will be expanding art projects and we have added new professional artists to provide quality art instruction. Our goal is to show the ABILITIES of our Stars and expose their talents in a number of venues for the 2015 Season.

The volunteers & staff are eager to welcome you into our Circle.
We work 1-on-1, 1:3 ratio, medium size groups and open classroom sessions.
